Maryborough Aeromodellers Club (MAC)

From a start in 1962 a small group of model enthusiasts have grown to 61 members in 2024.

Over the years there have been some very generous and hard working members who have given their time and effort to make the club what it is today.

There are now a total of 60 members flying a large variety of models from Giant Scale to small electric foamy planes, Turbine Jets, Methanol, Gas and Electric Powered Planes, Gliders, Helicopters and Drone.

From time to time we have pilots from other clubs fly at the Maryborough field and it is now considered to be one of the best. The canteen members do a wonderful job catering for various events held throughout the year. Visitors are always welcome to drop in for a chat or a fly.

The club operates under an (Area Approval) issued by the MAAA under the general instrument and it is therefore imperrative that MAC Members,visiting Pilots and Spectators acquaint themselves with and abide by the MAC General & Safety Rules.
